Saunders Aqua Metro | Melbourne | Full-Time | Site-BasedAbout the RoleSaunders Aqua Metro is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team delivering critical water infrastructure projects across Melbourne. This is a site-based role offering the opportunity to work on challenging projects within the water industry while being part of a collaborative and safety-focused team. Essential RequirementsYou must be based in the Melbourne area - this is a site-based role requiring local presence. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Essential)Experience:3-5 years' experience in an engineering role within the water industryDemonstrated experience in the water/utilities sector is essentialKey Skills:Excellent problem-solving abilities and exceptional attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively in team environmentsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop monthly accruals, forecasts, costing and progress reportsPrepare project change orders and track scope changesManage cost control including invoice approvals and cost codingPrepare RFQs and raise Purchase Orders per Delegation of AuthorityDevelop and maintain construction work packs, SWMS, CMS, and ITPsRegister, track and close out RFIs and review IFCsAssist with commissioning plans and as-built documentationParticipate in client meetings and prepare meeting minutesSupport O&M manual compilation and project handover activitiesEnsure defects are promptly rectifiedWhat We're Looking ForWe need detail-oriented professionals who can manage multiple project deliverables while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
